Securing your place at The Apple Tree

To secure your nursery place at The Apple Tree you must provide a completed and signed ‘Admissions Form’ together with a non-refundable registration fee of £50. 

Nursery Fees

Full fees are payable 52 weeks of the year and are to be paid during absence, sickness, bank holidays and personal holidays and are exclusive of formula milk, nappies and wipes.

Fees are payable monthly and we ask that they are paid in advance. We increase our fees once per year. We will give you written notice of any such increase one month before the proposed date of increase.  

We accept payment in the form of Cash, BACS payment/Standing Order, Childcare Vouchers and the Governments Tax Free Childcare Scheme.

If you intend to leave The Apple Tree

If you no longer require a place at The Apple Tree we ask for 4 weeks written notice. Payments should still be made during this notice period unless otherwise agreed with the provider. 

Changes to your nursery sessions

To increase, decrease or make changes to your nursery sessions, please email or speak to our nursery manager regarding availability and flexibility. We will always swap/change for you if we can. 

Free nursery Education

We offer 15 hour and 30 hour funded places for all eligible families.

All 2,  3 and 4 year old children in England can access 15 hours per term time week of government funded early education.  

If parents are living and working in England, and meet the criteria, 3- and 4-year-olds may be entitled to an additional 15 hours.

If you wish to take up free nursery education we will require a birth certificate or passport and a completed and signed ‘Parental Declaration’ on a termly basis (which we will provide) detailing how and when you will take up the free sessions. There is a small charge for meals or additional activities provided during any free session. You may bring a cold packed lunch if you prefer but unfortunately, we cannot heat up food.

Health and medical matters

If your child is unwell, we ask that you do not bring him or her into the nursery. If your child is showing any signs of contagious illness they should be kept at home until they are fully recovered. We follow ‘The Health Protection Agency Guidelines Regarding Infection Control in Childcare Settings.’ If the child becomes ill during the nursery session, we will inform parents. CCTV Surveillance

At The Apple Tree we operate CCTV 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to assist us in protecting the premises, the children and the staff. This can only be viewed by management in the office and used in the event of an accident or an allegation.
